At my company, we always prepare for the newspaper deadline on Thursday.  
So every Wednesday, we start uploading our articles to the shared folder.

Today, one of the senior staff asked me,  
“Did you check the folder? Did the articles go up?”  
They hadn’t.

I said, “No, nothing’s uploaded yet.”  
Then he asked, “Why didn’t you ask when it’s going up?”  
He seemed surprised… but honestly, I was the one surprised.  
Why should I ask? If it doesn’t go up today, it’ll probably go up tomorrow.

Is it strange that I didn’t ask? I’m not sure.  
But the situation left me a bit confused and annoyed.
